Grailed to Stripe: Sell Your Pieces at Fairs and Pop-Ups

How FLUF Connect turns Grailed listings into Stripe Payment Links and QR codes for fairs, pop-ups and your own audience, and how to stop a piece selling twice.

70+ marketplaces, one dashboard Auto inventory sync WhatsApp, email & in-app support

A lot of Grailed sellers also sell in person: a rail at a vintage fair, a table at a sneaker convention, a pop-up with friends, or a buyer who found them through their own Instagram. Those buyers do not want to install Grailed to pay for a jacket that is already in their hands. A Stripe Payment Link gives each piece a checkout page and a QR code. FLUF Connect creates those links from your Grailed inventory, and one stock record stops the same jacket selling at the fair and online on the same afternoon.

In short

  • Each Grailed item you send gets a Stripe product and a Payment Link limited to the quantity you have, with a QR code in your Stripe Dashboard.
  • Grailed charges 9% on sales of $120 or more and 6% below that (minimum $1.99), plus payment processing. A Stripe Payment Link sale costs only the card fee: 2.9% + 30¢ in the US, 1.5% + 20p on a standard UK card.
  • Neither side reports its sales to FLUF. When a piece sells, mark it sold in FLUF and the other listing comes down.
  • Stripe brings no buyers of its own. Use it for people you meet or who already follow you, and keep selling to Grailed buyers on Grailed.

Grailed is where buyers you have never met find your pieces. Stripe is for the ones you meet some other way:

  • Fairs and pop-ups. Hang a printed QR code on the swing tag. The buyer scans it and pays on their phone.
  • Your own audience. Drop the link in a story or a newsletter for followers who would rather not sign up to a marketplace.
  • Repeat customers. Send a link to someone who has bought from you before and asked to see a piece first.

Buyers who found you on Grailed should finish the sale on Grailed, where its protection and messaging apply. The link is for the rest.

What a sale costs on each

Grailed’s fees page sets a 9% seller fee on sales of $120 and above, and 6% (minimum $1.99) on sales under $120. Processing is separate. For sellers onboarded with Stripe it is 3.49% + $0.49 on US domestic payments, according to Grailed’s processing fee article.

A Payment Link sale carries only Stripe’s card fee: 2.9% + 30¢ in the US and 1.5% + 20p on a standard UK card. There is no monthly fee and nothing extra for using Payment Links.

$200 jacket, US buyer Grailed Stripe Payment Link
Commission $18.00 None
Payment processing $7.47 $6.10
You keep $174.53 $193.90

The difference is the commission, and it pays for Grailed’s audience. Stripe is cheaper only for buyers you would have reached anyway.

How to send Grailed items to Stripe

  1. Connect Grailed in FLUF Connect through the FLUF browser extension or the FLUF mobile app. Your Grailed listings appear in your FLUF inventory.
  2. Connect Stripe from the Stripe card on the Channels screen and approve the FLUF Connect app when Stripe asks.
  3. Filter the inventory to Grailed and select the pieces you are taking to the event or posting to your own audience.
  4. Choose Stripe as the destination, check the price and publish.

After selecting a Grailed product, choose Stripe as the destination. This shows the selection step; no listing was submitted. Seller identifiers have been removed. View full size

Each item gets a Stripe product with its name, price and photo, and a Payment Link limited to the quantity you hold. Stripe’s sharing guide shows where to download the QR code. Grailed’s measurements and designer tags have no place on a Stripe checkout, so say the size on the swing tag or in your post.

A price change in FLUF creates a new Stripe link. If you mark a piece down halfway through a fair, reprint its QR code.

Keeping both in step

What happens Result
Piece sells on Grailed FLUF does not see the sale. Mark it sold in FLUF and the Stripe link stops taking payments
Piece sells by its Stripe link FLUF does not see the sale. Mark it sold in FLUF and the Grailed listing comes down
Relisting and offers Not available through FLUF on Grailed or Stripe

Both directions are manual. At a busy fair, the risk is a Grailed buyer paying for a jacket someone has just bought at your rail. Mark each piece sold in FLUF while the buyer is still at the stand, and check your phone for Grailed sales between customers.

Outside the US

Grailed bills fees in dollars, and its international seller article says payouts to sellers outside the US can take up to seven extra business days. A UK seller taking a standard UK card at a London vintage fair pays Stripe’s UK rate, with no dollar conversion on that sale.

What FLUF costs

Crosslisting and inventory sync are on every FLUF plan, from £9 a month for Starter. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with Pro and above, but FLUF offers none of them on Grailed or Stripe. You can start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.

Neither Grailed nor Stripe reports sales to FLUF. Mark the piece sold in FLUF: a Grailed sale switches off the Stripe link, and a Stripe sale takes down the Grailed listing.

FLUF sends the name, price and photo. Put the size and measurements on the swing tag or in your post.
