Crosslist from eBay to Leboncoin — Automatically
Move your eBay inventory to Leboncoin in minutes. Prices, descriptions, and images transfer automatically. Inventory stays in sync.
- FLUF Connect pulls every active eBay listing and pushes it to Leboncoin in a few clicks — titles, descriptions, photos, prices and condition all carry across.
- Pricing is auto-converted from GBP or USD to EUR using the live rate at push time, with an optional fixed markup to cover French VAT or cross-border shipping.
- Listings can be auto-translated into French before they go live — Leboncoin’s moderation rejects English-only copy, so this is the difference between selling and not selling.
- Sales sync runs every few minutes: when an item sells on eBay, FLUF marks the Leboncoin twin sold (and vice-versa) so you never ship the same SKU twice.
- Leboncoin’s Paiement Sécurisé flow with Mondial Relay, Colissimo, Shop2Shop and Courrier Suivi is supported on the seller side — buyers pay via the escrow wallet, you receive a prepaid label.
- Plans start at £19/month (Growth, 500 products). There is no free plan, no free trial and no free crosslist tier — automation, sync and bulk push are included on every plan.

Why Sell on Both eBay and Leboncoin?
If you already sell on eBay, you have built a listing workflow optimised for search-driven, English-speaking buyers worldwide. Leboncoin is a different animal: it is the dominant classifieds and resale site in France, with roughly 27–29 million monthly users, and the vast majority of those users never touch eBay.fr. Putting your existing eBay inventory in front of that audience is one of the highest-ROI expansion moves a UK, US, German, Italian or Spanish reseller can make — but only if the cross-listing process does not collapse under the friction of language, currency, French shipping integration and Pro-vs-Private seller status.
That friction is exactly what FLUF Connect removes. You stay on eBay for global reach. You add Leboncoin for a captive 65-million-person market that prefers buying in French, paying in EUR, and shipping via Mondial Relay or Colissimo. You do not duplicate work, because every change you make on eBay is reflected on Leboncoin automatically.
Who this guide is for
This page is written for sellers whose primary store is on eBay — typically UK, US or German private and business sellers — who want to open Leboncoin as a second channel without learning a French interface from scratch. If you are the reverse case (France-based, currently on Leboncoin, wanting to reach global eBay buyers), read our Leboncoin to eBay guide instead — the friction points are different and the strategic framing is different.
Audience comparison
| Dimension | eBay | Leboncoin |
|---|---|---|
| Active buyer base | 133M+ globally | ~29M monthly users, France only |
| Buyer intent | Search-driven (“I want X”) | Browse + local pickup + classifieds |
| Primary language | English (+ localised sites) | French — mandatory for moderation approval |
| Currency | GBP, USD, EUR (per site) | EUR only |
| Strongest categories | Electronics, collectibles, parts, fashion | Vehicles, real estate, furniture, electronics, fashion |
| Shipping model | Seller-arranged, integrated labels | In-person handover OR Paiement Sécurisé with Mondial Relay / Colissimo / Shop2Shop / Courrier Suivi |
| Seller types | Private + Business (different fee schedules) | Private (free for most categories) + Pro (paid subscription) |
| Listing duration | Good ‘Til Cancelled or fixed-term | 60 days, renewable at no cost |
The two platforms barely overlap on the buyer side. A vintage Pyrex bowl that has sat on eBay UK for three months because the international audience is saturated may sell in a week on Leboncoin to a buyer in Lyon who never searches eBay. A high-volume eBay seller who keeps re-listing the same SKUs to refresh search rank can drop those SKUs into Leboncoin and gain a second source of traffic at zero marginal listing cost (for non-vehicle categories — see fees below).
How to Crosslist from eBay to Leboncoin with FLUF Connect
Setup takes about ten minutes from signing up to the first listing going live on Leboncoin. There is no API key to copy, no bulk CSV to prepare, and you do not need a developer.
Step 1 — Connect your eBay store
Sign in to FLUF Connect, open the Channels page, and click Connect on the eBay tile. You will be redirected to eBay’s OAuth flow; approve the FLUF app and you are returned to the dashboard. FLUF immediately pulls your active listings — title, description, gallery images, price, condition, item specifics, category and shipping policies — and indexes them for crosslisting.

Step 2 — Connect Leboncoin
Click Connect on the Leboncoin tile. Because Leboncoin has no public listing API, FLUF Connect uses our Chrome extension to log you in via the normal Leboncoin web flow — you sign in once with your existing Leboncoin email and password, the extension captures the session token, and FLUF then drives the listing endpoints the same way the Leboncoin web app does. If you do not yet have a Leboncoin account, create one at leboncoin.fr first. Both Private and Pro accounts are supported.
Step 3 — Set your French defaults
Open Settings → Channel defaults → Leboncoin and pick:
- Default postcode — Leboncoin requires a French postal code on every listing. If you do not have a physical French address, use a forwarding partner’s postcode or your shipping warehouse.
- Auto-translation — toggle Translate listings to French on push. FLUF runs your eBay title and description through a translation pass tuned for French marketplace copy (idiomatic, no “word salad” output that triggers moderation rejection).
- EUR conversion — pick the FX source (live rate at push time) and an optional fixed markup, in percent, to cover French VAT, customs admin, or cross-border shipping uplift.
- Account type — declare Private or Pro. This determines which Leboncoin form fields are mandatory and how the listings are taxonomised.
Step 4 — Pick what to crosslist
From the Listings page, filter your eBay catalogue (by category, by date listed, by tag, by stock level) and select the items you want on Leboncoin. You can push one item, twenty, or your entire active inventory. Click Crosslist to Leboncoin.

Step 5 — Review the French preview
Before each batch fires, FLUF shows a side-by-side preview: the original eBay listing on the left, the proposed Leboncoin listing on the right (translated title, translated description, EUR price, mapped Leboncoin category, images in the correct order). You can edit any field inline. Skip this if you trust the defaults; turn it on if you want a human-in-the-loop for the first few batches.
Step 6 — Push and monitor
Hit Confirm. FLUF queues the listings and pushes them to Leboncoin via the Chrome extension, throttled to mimic human pacing so Leboncoin’s DataDome bot protection does not flag your account. You will see a progress banner; each listing shows live status (queued, posted, failed with reason). Failures are surfaced with a concrete fix — for example, “Title exceeded Leboncoin’s character limit, auto-truncated at word boundary” or “Category not mapped, pick one”.
What Transfers When You Crosslist from eBay to Leboncoin?
FLUF Connect maps the eBay listing schema onto Leboncoin’s field model. Some fields go across one-for-one; some need transformation; a few have no equivalent and stay eBay-only.
| eBay field | Leboncoin field | Transformation |
|---|---|---|
| Title (80 chars) | Titre | Auto-translated to French; truncated at word boundary if it exceeds Leboncoin’s character limit |
| Description (HTML) | Description (plain text) | HTML stripped, paragraphs preserved, auto-translated to French |
| Price (GBP/USD/EUR) | Prix (EUR) | Converted to EUR at the live FX rate plus optional fixed markup |
| Gallery images (up to 12) | Photos (up to 10) | First 10 carried across in original order |
| Item Condition | État | Mapped: New → Neuf, New other → Neuf avec étiquette, Used → Bon état / Satisfaisant per eBay sub-condition |
| Category | Catégorie + sous-catégorie | FLUF maps eBay’s category tree onto Leboncoin’s deep-leaf taxonomy |
| Brand / Model / Size item specifics | Critères | Carried into Leboncoin’s structured attributes where the category supports them |
| Shipping policy | Mode de livraison | Mapped to one or more of: Remise en main propre, Mondial Relay, Colissimo, Shop2Shop, Courrier Suivi |
| SKU | FLUF internal ID | Stored on FLUF’s side for sync; not exposed in Leboncoin listing |
| Quantity > 1 | Single ad | Leboncoin is a classifieds model — each unit is one ad; multi-quantity is consolidated |
| Variations (size, colour) | Separate listings | Each variation is pushed as its own Leboncoin ad |
Category mapping examples
- eBay Clothes, Shoes & Accessories > Women > Women’s Clothing > Dresses → Leboncoin Mode > Vêtements Femme > Robes
- eBay Sound & Vision > Home Audio & HiFi Separates > Amplifiers & Pre-Amps → Leboncoin Multimédia > Image & son > Amplis
- eBay Home, Furniture & DIY > Furniture > Tables → Leboncoin Maison & Jardin > Ameublement > Tables
- eBay Collectibles > Vintage Toys → Leboncoin Loisirs > Jeux & Jouets
- eBay Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles → Leboncoin Véhicules (note: Leboncoin charges private sellers from the third vehicle ad in a rolling 12-month window — fees of €26.90 publication + €79.90 insertion apply; FLUF surfaces this before pushing so you do not get a surprise charge)
Inventory Sync Between eBay and Leboncoin
Crosslisting is only half the value — the other half is making sure a sale on one side instantly delists the twin on the other, so you never sell the same physical item twice. FLUF Connect polls both channels on a short cycle and reconciles state.
| Event | Source channel | What FLUF does on the other channel | Typical latency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Item sold on eBay | eBay order webhook | Delists the Leboncoin twin (marks as sold) | 1–3 minutes |
| Item sold on Leboncoin via Paiement Sécurisé | Leboncoin order poll | Ends the eBay listing (auctions revised, fixed-price ended) | 2–5 minutes |
| Item handed over in person on Leboncoin | Manual mark-as-sold | Ends the eBay listing once you mark it sold in FLUF | Manual trigger |
| Price changed in FLUF | FLUF dashboard | Updates both channels (EUR conversion applied to Leboncoin) | < 1 minute |
| Stock count goes to 0 (multi-channel) | Any channel | Delists everywhere | 1–3 minutes |
| Listing edited (title, description, images) | FLUF dashboard | Pushes the edit to both channels | < 1 minute |

Crosslisting from eBay to Leboncoin: Before and After FLUF Connect
For context, here is what manual eBay-to-Leboncoin crosslisting looks like for one item versus the FLUF flow.
| Step | Manual (per item) | FLUF Connect |
|---|---|---|
| Open Leboncoin in a new tab | 30 sec | — |
| Translate title + description to French | 4–8 min (or pay a freelancer) | Automatic |
| Convert price to EUR + decide markup | 1–2 min | Automatic, with your saved markup |
| Pick Leboncoin category + sub-category | 1–3 min (deep taxonomy) | Auto-mapped, editable |
| Re-upload photos | 2–4 min | Carried across |
| Fill structured attributes (brand, size, état) | 1–2 min | Pre-filled from eBay item specifics |
| Pick shipping methods + weight | 1–2 min | Pre-filled from your defaults |
| Mark sold on eBay when Leboncoin sells | 1 min (if you remember) | Automatic via order poll |
| Total per item | 10–22 min | ~10 sec of clicks |
For a seller with 500 active eBay items, that is the difference between 80–180 hours of manual French re-listing and an afternoon of supervised bulk push.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Leboncoin's moderation team rejects English-only or low-quality machine-translated listings, and repeat rejections damage your account standing. FLUF Connect runs every eBay listing through a translation pass tuned for French marketplace copy u2014 it preserves brand names, sizes and model numbers untranslated and rewrites the rest into idiomatic French. You can review the translated preview before each batch goes live.
FLUF converts the price at the live FX rate at the moment of push. You can also set a fixed markup percentage in Settings u2014 for example, +8% to cover French VAT exposure or cross-border shipping uplift. The converted EUR price is shown in the preview before push, and you can override it per listing.
Yes. FLUF Connect supports both Private and Pro Leboncoin accounts. Private sellers list for free across most categories on Leboncoin; Pro sellers pay a monthly subscription with category-specific pricing. FLUF asks which account type you have during onboarding so it sends the right form fields and respects the right limits.
Yes. When you opt in to Paiement Su00e9curisu00e9, Leboncoin handles escrow and issues you a prepaid shipping label for Mondial Relay, Colissimo, Shop2Shop or Courrier Suivi. FLUF imports these orders into the unified orders feed and delists the eBay twin within a few minutes of the sale.
Cross-border shipments from the UK or US to France carry customs and may incur French import VAT for the buyer. For low-value items most carriers (Royal Mail, La Poste) handle this automatically with IOSS, but you should account for it in your EUR markup. UK private sellers selling to France should also check whether their volume crosses the UK distance-selling threshold or the EU IOSS threshold.
For Private sellers, non-vehicle listings are free in unlimited volume. Vehicle listings (cars, motorcycles, utility vehicles) cost u20ac26.90 publication + u20ac79.90 insertion from the third ad in a rolling 12-month window u2014 FLUF surfaces this before pushing so you do not get a surprise charge. Pro sellers pay a monthly subscription set by Leboncoin and may have category-specific extras.
Sales placed through Leboncoin's Paiement Su00e9curisu00e9 flow trigger an end-listing on eBay within 2u20135 minutes. eBay sales delist the Leboncoin twin within 1u20133 minutes. In-person cash handovers on Leboncoin are not visible to FLUF u2014 you need to mark these sold manually in the dashboard, after which the eBay listing is ended within a minute.
FLUF Connect uses our Chrome extension to drive the same listing endpoints as the Leboncoin web app, signed in with your real session. Pushes are throttled to mimic human pacing. We monitor account health signals and back off automatically if Leboncoin throws a soft block, so you stay below DataDome's flagging thresholds.
FLUF Connect supports the general goods categories (fashion, electronics, furniture, home, collectibles, parts). Vehicles are supported but be aware of Leboncoin's Private-seller fee from the third vehicle ad. Real estate and jobs use a different listing model on Leboncoin (and are not on eBay), so they are out of scope for this crosslisting flow.
