Stripe to Depop: List Your Brand’s Stripe Products on Depop
Bring the products you sell through Stripe Payment Links onto Depop: what Depop charges UK and US brands, the details and photos it asks for, and how FLUF Connect keeps stock in step.
If your brand keeps its products in Stripe and sells them through Payment Links or your own site’s checkout, FLUF Connect can take those products and list them on Depop, where most of the buyers are young and shopping for clothes. You add the details Depop asks for that Stripe never stored (size, brand, condition, category), add your own photos, and publish. When a piece sells on Depop, FLUF switches off its Stripe Payment Link so nobody can pay for it twice.
- Stripe products with a one-time price come into FLUF and can be sent to Depop from there.
- Depop charges UK and US sellers no selling fee. You pay payment processing (2.9% + £0.30 in the UK, 3.3% + $0.45 in the US) and 12% more only on boosted sales.
- A Depop sale takes the item off Stripe. A sale through a Stripe link is not seen by FLUF, so you mark it sold yourself.
- Start with 7 days for £1, then from £9/month.
Is this for you?
This route suits a small clothing, streetwear or accessories label that already sells online with Stripe: drops sold through Payment Links shared on Instagram, a simple shop site with Stripe checkout, or a QR code on a stall table. Depop gives that label a second shop window in front of buyers who are searching for exactly that kind of stock.
It suits you less if your Stripe catalogue is mostly subscriptions, digital downloads or services. Only products with a one-time price come into FLUF, and Depop is for physical items.
Selling on Depop as a brand
Depop has a set-up path for companies. Its business and charity selling guide says you choose to start selling as a limited company in the app and complete business verification with Stripe, Depop’s payment provider. You need your company name, address, registration number (CRN, ABN or EIN), a VAT number or sales tax ID if you have one, a representative’s details and bank details. A personal seller account cannot be switched to a business account in the app; Depop’s support team has to make that change.
The same page says Depop works with crosslisting tools, and that business sellers get trend insights, shop analytics and a seller support team.
One requirement trips up brands more than any other: photos. Depop’s help article on stock images asks that every photo is original and taken by you, not lifted from an online source. Clean product shots you photographed yourself are fine. Supplier images or pictures copied from another site are not. Many brands find their Stripe product images were made for a white-background checkout page, and add a worn or styled shot before listing on Depop.
What Depop costs a UK or US brand
Depop’s seller fees page, updated July 2026, sets these charges for sales made with the Buy button:
| Seller based in | Selling fee | Payment processing | Boosted sale |
|---|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | None | 2.9% + £0.30 | 12% (listings boosted from 23 March 2026) |
| United States | None | 3.3% + $0.45 | 12% (listings boosted from 23 March 2026) |
| Australia | None | 2.6% + A$0.30 | 8% |
| Elsewhere | 10% | PayPal’s own fee | 8% |
Processing is charged on the item price plus shipping and any taxes. The boosting fee is charged on the item price, plus shipping if you did not use a Depop shipping label. If you refund a sale, Depop reverses all of these fees.
A worked example for a UK label: a £35 hoodie sold with £3.99 shipping costs 2.9% of £38.99 plus 30p, which is £1.43. If the hoodie was boosted and you used a Depop label, add 12% of £35, which is £4.20, for £5.63 in total. A US label selling a $45 tee with $6 shipping pays 3.3% of $51 plus 45 cents, or $2.13.
For comparison, the same £35 paid by a standard UK card through a Stripe Payment Link costs 1.5% + 20p, about 73p, on Stripe’s UK pricing. In the US, Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per card payment, so $1.61 on a $45 tee. Depop costs a little more per sale; what you pay for is the buyers you would not otherwise reach.
What a Stripe product has, and what Depop needs
A Stripe product holds a name, a description, images and a price. A Depop listing needs more. Depop’s listing guide asks for a category, shipping price, brand and condition, up to five hashtags in the description, and up to four photos plus a video in the app (eight photos on the web). Size matters for almost every clothing search.
| On the Depop listing | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Title and description | Your Stripe product name and description, editable in FLUF |
| Price | The product’s Stripe price |
| Photos | The product’s Stripe images; swap in your own styled shots if those are supplier images |
| Size, brand, condition, category | Add or check them in FLUF before publishing |
| Hashtags | Add them to the description in FLUF |
For a brand, brand and condition are quick: your own label and “brand new” for unworn stock. Size and category deserve a second look on each item, because they decide which searches the listing appears in.
How to send Stripe products to Depop with FLUF Connect
- Connect Stripe from the Stripe card on the Channels screen and approve the FLUF Connect app when Stripe asks. No browser extension is needed.
- Connect your Depop shop from the Depop card on the same screen.
- Your Stripe products appear in your FLUF inventory. Pick the ones you want on Depop.
- Choose Depop as the destination, then check size, brand, condition and category, and replace any photo you did not take yourself.
- Publish. Each item goes live in your Depop shop.

Keeping stock right on both
Stripe does not count stock, so the two places can drift apart if you leave them alone. Here is what FLUF handles and what is left to you.
| What happens | Result |
|---|---|
| Item sells on Depop | FLUF picks up the sale, switches off the item’s Stripe Payment Link (buyers see “Sorry, this item has sold.”), archives the Stripe product and removes the item from your other channels |
| Item sells through Stripe | Not detected. Mark it sold in FLUF and the Depop listing comes down |
| Price changed in FLUF | Depop and Stripe are both updated; Stripe gets a new link, so reprint any QR code for that item |
| Relisting and offers on Depop | Available from the Pro plan upwards |
The Stripe-side sale is the one to watch. If you sell a jacket at a pop-up through its Payment Link QR code, open FLUF and mark it sold the same day, and it disappears from Depop before someone else buys it.
Getting found on Depop
Depop’s help centre explains how search results are ranked, and complete, accurate listings help. Two habits pay off for small labels. Fill in every attribute rather than leaving size or category generic, and keep listings fresh. On the Pro plan and above, FLUF can relist older Depop listings and send offers to people who liked an item, which helps with slow movers between drops.
