Crosslist from PrestaShop to Leboncoin — put a French shop’s stock in front of France’s biggest classifieds audience

PrestaShop is French software; Leboncoin is where 30 million French people browse every month. FLUF Connect turns a PrestaShop product into a French, euro-priced Leboncoin ad from your own browser session — and is plain about which sync steps stay manual.

50+ marketplaces, one dashboard Auto inventory sync WhatsApp, email & in-app support
Key Takeaways — crosslisting from PrestaShop to Leboncoin

  • This is a domestic route, and that is its whole point. PrestaShop was built in Paris; Leboncoin is the second most-visited e-commerce property in France. A French shop pushing stock to Leboncoin is not exporting — it is meeting the buyers who already live next door but never type your shop’s URL.
  • You will be a compte pro, and pros are priced differently. A private seller posts goods for nothing and pays no commission. A professional gets a one-off quota of 50 free consumer-goods ads, then pays insertion fees or takes a subscription — and without a subscription, a Transaction sécurisée sale in Mode, Maison, Multimédia, Loisirs or Famille carries a 9% to 15% commission.
  • Buyers pay a fee on top of your price. On a shipped Transaction sécurisée the buyer adds €0.70 plus 5% of the item price, so a €100 ad costs them €105.70 before postage. Price with that in mind.
  • Publication is not instant, and FLUF Connect tells you so. A submitted ad opens as inactive, is finalised as a zero-cost deposit, and only then enters Leboncoin’s moderation. The FLUF Connect dashboard shows it as pending until a read actually sees it live.
  • One ad per product, in French and euros. Review the French title and description, euro price, stock and up to 10 photos. Titles are limited to 70 characters. Variants are not split into separate ads.
  • Sync is deliberately narrow here. FLUF Connect imports committed PrestaShop orders and stocks out your other channels. It does not read Leboncoin sales, and it does not automatically pause a Leboncoin ad when a PrestaShop order lands — you end that ad yourself.
  • Through FLUF Connect: one PrestaShop catalogue, 51 marketplaces, Leboncoin driven from your own browser session. 7 days for £1, then from £9/month, then plans from £9/month.

A French shop meeting a French audience

Crosslisting from PrestaShop to Leboncoin is the rare pair where nothing crosses a border. PrestaShop was founded in Paris in 2007 and, as of the 2019 BuiltWith count cited on that same page, powered roughly a third of French online shops; a large share of the merchants who run it today are French or Belgian SMEs invoicing in euros under French VAT. Leboncoin, meanwhile, is not a niche second-hand app. In the Fevad and Médiamétrie audience barometer for the third quarter of 2025 it sat second only to Amazon, with 30.2 million monthly unique visitors and 7.6 million a day, and Leboncoin’s own corporate site describes it as the first French e-commerce site, with more than 30 million monthly unique visitors on average.

The two audiences are not the same people at the same moment. A visitor to your PrestaShop store arrived through Google, an advert or a bookmark and is weighing your brand; a Leboncoin visitor opened the app to browse a category near their postcode and is weighing a photo and a price. For a retailer of furniture, kitchen equipment, bikes, tools, refurbished electronics or collectables with an address in France, those postcode browsers are the buyers least likely to find the shop any other way.

Your Leboncoin account will be a compte pro — what that costs

A merchant crosslisting a PrestaShop catalogue is a professional seller on Leboncoin, and that decides which fee page applies. Leboncoin’s help centre states that a professional account is mandatory for anyone selling goods bought for resale, goods they made themselves, or regular volumes. Its terms of use require a professional to open a compte pro, give the company’s SIRET, phone number and registered address, and identify the legal representative or any shareholder above 25%. The consumer protections that follow — the two-year legal guarantee of conformity and the 14-day right of withdrawal — apply to your Leboncoin sales exactly as they do on your own storefront.

Leboncoin publishes no single pro tariff, so the honest summary is a set of rules rather than one number.

Charge Private seller Professional (compte pro)
Posting a goods ad (Mode, Maison & Jardin, Multimédia, Loisirs, Famille) Free; only vehicles and property have free-ad quotas Up to 50 ads offered in total without a subscription, counted from 1 March 2025 and not renewed; each posting or renewal uses one unit. After that, insertion fees or a subscription
Commission on a Transaction sécurisée sale None — the service is free for the seller 9% to 15% of the sale price excluding postage, by sub-category, without a subscription; none with a subscription. Deducted from the payout, invoiced 14 days after delivery is confirmed
Services and animals ads Free Insertion fees from the first ad, no free quota
Vehicles, property, holidays, jobs, professional equipment Quota-based, then paid Category-specific pricing and packs
Visibility options (boosts, renewals) Paid Paid

Two of those rows matter for a crosslisting tool in particular. The 50-unit quota counts renewals as well as new ads, so a relist-heavy strategy spends it fast; and FLUF Connect deliberately submits every ad with the options and packs arrays empty, so nothing you crosslist buys a boost against your Leboncoin balance. The commission examples on the help page — 9% on household appliances and phones, 11% on consoles, 15% on sport — are the figures to feed into your margin calculation before you decide whether a subscription is cheaper than paying per sale.

Transaction sécurisée, couriers, and where the tool stops

Leboncoin’s escrow service is called Transaction sécurisée (the site also calls it paiement sécurisé). The buyer pays Leboncoin, a third party holds the money, and it is released to you after delivery. The buyer pays for it: €0.70 fixed plus 5% of the item price on a shipped sale, so €1.20 on a €10 item, €2.70 on €40 and €5.70 on €100. On a hand-to-hand sale the buyer’s fee is capped at €1.99 with a private seller but stays at €0.70 plus 5% with a professional — one more reason your buyers will compare your ad against a private one at the same price.

Shipping runs through Leboncoin’s partner couriers, and the pro criteria are specific. Mondial Relay and Shop2Shop by Chronopost are available on sales up to €2,000; Colissimo and Courrier suivi up to €400; Shop2Shop does not serve Corsica; anything over 30 kg is collection only. Postage is charged to the buyer at checkout. Once a sale is confirmed you download the label from Leboncoin, and the transaction closes automatically within 30 days if the buyer never confirms receipt. Before your first payout Adyen validates your SIRET, address, IBAN and representative details, normally within 48 hours.

Here is where FLUF Connect stops. It does not read Leboncoin’s Transaction sécurisée orders, does not print its labels, and does not pull a Leboncoin buyer into your PrestaShop order book. The Leboncoin channel is registered with no order-sync feature, and this page will not pretend otherwise. The sale, the label and the payout all happen inside your compte pro; FLUF Connect’s job is to get the ad there.

What a PrestaShop product becomes as a Leboncoin ad

Connect PrestaShop with your Webservice key, then review imported products, photos and stock. For Leboncoin, confirm the French title and description, euro price, category, required attributes and location before publishing.

PrestaShop field Leboncoin ad field How FLUF Connect handles it
name (in the store’s default language) subject Translated to French if it is not already, then cut to 70 characters at a word boundary
description body Translated to French, then rebuilt as a short description plus a structured block (Marque, Couleur, Matière…) in the shape Leboncoin’s own listing assistant produces, which passes moderation more reliably
price and store currency price_cents Converted to EUR if the store is not already in euros; minimum €1.00. See the VAT note below
id_category_default and your FLUF category category Mapped to a sellable Leboncoin leaf from FLUF’s mirror of the Leboncoin tree; service categories and preset “mirror” nodes are excluded because Leboncoin refuses goods in them

Déclinaisons: one ad, not one per size

PrestaShop keeps stock per combination — every combination gets its own stock_available row — and a merchant with a T-shirt in six sizes is used to that granularity. Leboncoin has no concept of a variant; a classified ad describes one thing at one price. FLUF Connect therefore treats the PrestaShop product as the unit: one ad, with the product-level stock record as its quantity. If your sizes sell very unevenly, the cleaner PrestaShop-side fix is to keep fast-moving sizes as separate products before you crosslist them.

The VAT point that catches French merchants

PrestaShop stores the product price before tax on the products resource; the tax-inclusive figure your storefront shows is computed from the tax rules group. A Leboncoin ad is a consumer price and is read as such. With the standard French rate at 20%, an ad built from the pre-tax figure would show a fifth below your shop’s shelf price. Check the price FLUF Connect imported against your storefront for the first product you push, and if it is the HT figure, apply a channel price rule in FLUF Connect for Leboncoin so the ad lands at the TTC price you actually want.

Why the ad is not live the moment you click

This is where a seller decides FLUF Connect “did not work” when it did. Leboncoin publishes ads in two stages, and FLUF Connect’s extension performs both. First the ad is submitted; Leboncoin answers with an ad id and the words “created” and “new_ad”, but that response is an open transaction, and an ad left there sits with status inactive, is invisible even in your own Mes annonces tab, and is dropped within the hour. Second, the extension prices the deposit at the zero-cost “newad” service and submits it, with no paid options selected — the same thing that happens when you click “Déposer sans booster mon annonce” on the site. Only then does Leboncoin confirm it has received the ad and start moderation.

FLUF Connect records the ad as pending at that point, not as live. Leboncoin’s help centre does not commit to a moderation time; sellers report anything from minutes to a day, longer for sensitive categories. Rather than guess, FLUF Connect waits: every 30 minutes, while you have a Leboncoin tab open, the extension re-reads your ad list in your own session and flips the ad to approved the first time it is seen active — or to rejected, expired or paused if that is what Leboncoin says. An ad FLUF Connect has never once seen live is never treated as sold, however long it stays quiet. If the deposit cannot be finalised, that is reported as a failed crosslist, not a pending one.

Edits go through the same door. A price or title change is a full-document replacement of the ad and re-triggers moderation, so a busy repricing routine on Leboncoin means a queue of ads briefly back under review. The reasonable rhythm for a PrestaShop merchant is to set the Leboncoin price once, at the TTC figure, and leave it.

What syncs between PrestaShop and Leboncoin, in each direction

PrestaShop supports order sync and marking items sold. Leboncoin supports neither in this workflow, so check Leboncoin sales and remove sold ads yourself.

Event What FLUF Connect does What you do
A PrestaShop order is paid, shipped or delivered Reads it through the Webservice (orders, order_details, customers, addresses, currencies, order_states), commits it once it carries a paid, shipped or delivered state, and stocks the item out on every other connected channel with a working stock-out path End the Leboncoin ad yourself — FLUF Connect does not pause it for you on this channel
A PrestaShop order sits in an unpaid or cancelled state Nothing; only committed states count Nothing
The item sells on Leboncoin (Transaction sécurisée or in person) Nothing on the order side. FLUF Connect has no view of Leboncoin sales Mark it sold on Leboncoin and let the ad end, then deal with PrestaShop as below
The Leboncoin ad disappears from your account (you ended it, it expired, or moderation removed it) The 30-minute extension sweep notices the ad is gone and records it as no longer live. That is an ended-ad signal, not a sale signal — FLUF Connect cannot tell the two apart — and it is what triggers the stock-out on the other channels, PrestaShop included, through PrestaShop’s stock_available quantity and the active and available_for_order flags Check the PrestaShop product afterwards if you ended the ad for a reason other than a sale, and restore stock
The item sells on a third channel Sets PrestaShop stock to zero and deactivates the product; the Leboncoin ad is not automatically paused End the Leboncoin ad
You change the price or title in PrestaShop Price and title changes are pushed to Leboncoin as a full-ad update, which re-enters moderation Nothing, but expect the ad to be briefly under review
You restock in PrestaShop Relisting to Leboncoin is not automated on this channel Crosslist the product again from the dashboard

Read that table as a working rule: keep the Leboncoin ad count small enough that ending an ad by hand when a PrestaShop order arrives is a two-minute job. For most SMEs that means the higher-value, slower-moving part of the range — the €80 lamp, the €300 bike, the refurbished laptop — rather than every SKU.

Setting it up, in order

  1. Create a PrestaShop Webservice key with the right grid. In the back office, enable the Webservice and generate a dedicated key. FLUF Connect needs View on products, categories, stock_availables, orders, order_details, customers, addresses, countries, currencies, order_states, configurations, shops and languages; Add, Modify and Delete on products; Modify on stock_availables; and Add on images. Do not reuse a key another module already holds — PrestaShop’s own documentation warns the key is the whole credential.
  2. Connect PrestaShop in FLUF. Enter your public HTTPS storefront URL and Webservice key. Local or private staging addresses are not supported.
  3. Install the FLUF browser extension and sign in to leboncoin.fr with your professional account. Follow the connection steps in FLUF.
  4. Set your French address and postcode in the Leboncoin channel settings. Every ad needs a location and Leboncoin geocodes it; without a usable French address the crosslist stops with a clear error.
  5. Import your PrestaShop products and pick the first batch. Prefer single-variant products, or products where one déclinaison represents the stock honestly. Confirm the imported price is the TTC figure and add a channel price rule if it is not.
  6. Crosslist from FLUF with a Leboncoin tab open. Keep the tab and extension available while publishing, then check the listing’s status.
  7. Come back after moderation. Approved ads flip to live in the dashboard; rejected ones keep Leboncoin’s refusal reason where a read was able to capture it, and the specific field Leboncoin refused is banked so the next ad in that category does not repeat it.
  8. Agree the manual step with whoever picks orders. PrestaShop order in, Leboncoin ad ended. It is the one thing this route does not do for you.

What FLUF Connect costs

7 days for £1, then from £9/month, then plans from £9/month. The Starter plan carries unlimited listings, and crosslisting, inventory sync, order sync and bulk operations are on every plan. Relisting, offer management and smart pricing come with the plans above Starter — though note that relisting and offers are not available on the Leboncoin channel regardless of plan, so a PrestaShop merchant whose second channel is only Leboncoin can reasonably sit on Starter.

Set that against the Leboncoin side: fifty offered pro ads, then insertion fees or a subscription; a 9% to 15% commission on secured sales without one; and a buyer-side fee of €0.70 plus 5% that your price competes against. FLUF Connect is the smallest line in that sum. The decision that moves your margin is whether to take a Leboncoin subscription, and you will only know that after the first batch has been live for a few weeks.

Sources and verification

What we could not verify from a primary source: Leboncoin does not publish a single pro price list, so the level of pro subscription fees and per-ad insertion fees for goods categories is described here only as “a few tens of euros a month” from third-party reporting, and should be read from your own compte pro before you commit. Moderation times are drawn from seller reports, not from Leboncoin. The statement that the PrestaShop products resource returns the pre-tax price reflects PrestaShop’s standard behaviour and FLUF Connect’s field read, but the DevDocs field table does not say so explicitly — hence the instruction to check the first imported price. The Fevad barometer pages block automated fetches, so the Q3 2025 figures were taken from the barometer as reported in search results and match Leboncoin’s own “more than 30 million” claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, and you should do it from a Leboncoin compte pro. Leboncoin requires anyone selling goods bought for resale, goods they made, or regular volumes to hold a professional account with a SIRET, and FLUF Connect connects to whichever Leboncoin account you are logged into in Chrome. Once PrestaShop is connected by Webservice key and Leboncoin through the extension, you crosslist from the same dashboard that serves 50+ marketplaces.

Leboncoin requires the FLUF browser extension and an open Leboncoin tab when publishing. PrestaShop connects with a Webservice key and does not need an extension.

Because Leboncoin moderates every ad before publishing it. FLUF Connect submits the ad, finalises it as a zero-cost deposit with no paid boosts, and Leboncoin then confirms receipt and starts its review. The dashboard keeps the ad at pending until the extension's regular re-read of your ad list actually sees it live, at which point it becomes approved. A rejection is recorded with Leboncoin's reason where one could be read.

FLUF Connect imports the PrestaShop order once it reaches a paid, shipped or delivered state and stocks the product out on your other channels that support an automatic stock-out. Leboncoin is not one of them: the Leboncoin channel has no mark-as-sold feature, so the ad stays up until you end it. Treat “PrestaShop order in, Leboncoin ad ended” as a manual step in your picking routine.

FLUF Connect cannot see Leboncoin sales or Transaction sécurisée orders, so nothing happens on the order side. What it does see, every 30 minutes while a Leboncoin tab is open, is whether the ad is still in your account. When an ad you ended disappears, FLUF Connect records it as no longer live and stocks the product out elsewhere, including setting PrestaShop stock to zero and deactivating the product. It cannot tell a sale from a deletion, so restore stock in PrestaShop if you ended the ad for another reason.

Variants are not split: FLUF creates one Leboncoin ad per PrestaShop product. If sizes or colours sell at very different rates, keep fast movers as separate PrestaShop products before crosslisting.

Check it on the first product you push. PrestaShop stores the pre-tax price on the products resource and computes the tax-inclusive shelf price from the tax rules group, while a Leboncoin ad is a consumer price. If the imported figure is the HT price, add a channel price rule for Leboncoin in FLUF Connect so the ad carries the TTC figure — at France's standard 20% rate the gap is a fifth of the price.

No. Every ad is finalised with the options and packs arrays empty, which is the same as choosing “Déposer sans booster mon annonce” on the site. Insertion fees, subscriptions and commissions are between you and Leboncoin: a pro gets 50 free consumer-goods ads in total, then pays per ad or subscribes, and without a subscription a Transaction sécurisée sale in the goods categories carries a 9% to 15% commission.

Not on this channel. Relisting and offer management come with the plans above Starter, but neither is available for Leboncoin, whose ads are moderated one by one in your browser session. When an ad expires, crosslist the product again from the dashboard. Note that Leboncoin counts each renewal against a pro's 50-ad free quota.
