Up for sale is an exquisite, highly collectible vintage/antique Chinese porcelain tea cup and saucer set. This piece beautifully marries traditional Chinese ceramic artistry with striking metallic craftsmanship, making it an exceptional display piece or addition to any Asian art collection.

Key Features & Craftsmanship:Exquisite Silver Overlay: Features an intricately detailed, hand-chased silver overlay depicting an Imperial Dragon chasing the flaming pearl, surrounded by traditional cloud motifs and a central Shou (寿) character—the traditional Chinese symbol for longevity, good health, and fortune.

Celadon Crackle Glaze: The deep, rich green glaze features a beautifully pronounced, intentional crackle/crazing texture reminiscent of ancient Song Dynasty Ge-ware style ceramics.Imperial Tripod "Ding"

Design: The cup is uniquely designed as a tripod vessel, resting on three unglazed ceramic feet. This structural style mimics ancient royal bronze "Ding" vessels, symbolising stability and high status.

Authentic Export Base: The underside of both pieces is unmarked, featuring a traditional unglazed, iron-brown washed rim and recess ("iron foot") consistent with mid-20th-century artisanal trade wares.

Condition Report:Excellent vintage/antique condition. The porcelain body is fully intact with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The silver overlay remains securely bonded to the glaze surface with no peeling, lifting, or bubbling.
