A buyer who makes an offer is ready to buy now. If the answer takes until morning, many have bought elsewhere. With a few hundred listings across several marketplaces, answering offers by hand becomes a job in itself, and the ones that arrive at 3am go unanswered. Offer management answers them within minutes, by rules you set once.
How it works
- Set a policy per marketplace. The lowest you will accept as a share of the asking price, for example 85%. What to counter with for offers below that. Whether to decline anything under a second, lower line.
- Override single items where it matters. Give an item its own minimum price and it beats the marketplace policy. Set minimums in bulk from the Listings page.
- FLUF answers. At or above your minimum, the offer is accepted and the sale goes through. Below it, FLUF counters with your price. Under your decline line, it is declined. Every decision is logged against the listing.
On Depop a decline is recorded in FLUF and the offer is left to expire on Depop, since Depop has no decline action; on the other marketplaces the buyer sees the decline.
Where it works
Offer management runs on Depop, eBay, Poshmark, Vestiaire Collective, Vinted and Yaga. On Vinted it works from the app or the browser extension with your own login. On Depop and Vinted FLUF can also send offers to buyers who liked an item, at a discount you set, which is the other half of the same job. Each marketplace’s page under Channels shows what FLUF can do on it.
