Kleinanzeigen to Amazon.de: listing your used electronics, games and books
Which Kleinanzeigen ads Amazon.de accepts, the barcodes and German registrations you need, and what FLUF Connect does when an item sells.
- Good fit: used electronics, books, DVDs, CDs, video games and branded household goods from your Kleinanzeigen ads. Amazon.de refuses used beauty, food, health and supplement items.
- Every item needs a barcode or an ASIN. Own-brand products without a barcode need a GTIN exemption from Amazon first.
- Amazon.de costs €39 a month (plus VAT) on the Professional plan, and a referral fee of 5% to 45% of each sale, depending on category.
- German packaging and electronics rules apply. You need a LUCID number, and a WEEE number if you sell electrical goods.
- Sync: a Kleinanzeigen sale ends the Amazon listing. An Amazon sale is not detected, so you mark it sold in FLUF, and FLUF then ends the Kleinanzeigen ad.
Which Kleinanzeigen stock can go on Amazon.de?
This route suits you if your Kleinanzeigen ads are mostly branded, barcoded goods such as electronics, games, books and films. It does not suit unbranded one-offs, or used beauty and health products. Kleinanzeigen lets you post almost anything with a photo and a price, so sort your ads before you connect anything.
Amazon’s guide to selling used products names consumer electronics, books, DVDs, CDs, video games and general merchandise as open to used offers. It rules out used items in beauty, food, health care and dietary supplements. The same guide says you must be a Professional seller to sell used goods. It does not name clothing or shoes, so check the condition options Seller Central gives you for a fashion category before you plan around it.
The second filter is identity. Amazon sells from a shared product catalogue, so a used Nintendo Switch game attaches to the page for that exact game. Items with an EAN or ISBN on the box move across easily. A hand-painted chair or an unbranded vintage lamp does not have a page to attach to.
So your strongest candidates are ads for electronics, consoles, games, books, films and music. Keep one-off vintage pieces on Kleinanzeigen.

Barcodes, ASINs and the GTIN exemption
FLUF will not create an Amazon listing without an ASIN or a barcode (EAN, UPC or ISBN). When one is missing, FLUF stops and tells you to add it. This protects you from the worst outcome on Amazon: an offer on the wrong product page, and a buyer who receives something different from what the page described.
Where to find the number:
- Books: the ISBN on the back cover or the copyright page.
- Games, films and music: the EAN under the barcode on the case.
- Electronics: the retail box, or a sticker on the device base. If the box is gone, search Amazon.de for the model and copy the ASIN from the product details.
Add the number to the product in FLUF before you list. Most used items end up as an offer on a product page that already exists, so the photos and title buyers see are usually Amazon’s, not yours.
For own-brand products with no GS1 barcode, Amazon offers a GTIN exemption. According to Amazon’s own Seller Central post on the exemption, you apply per product and category, with two to nine real photos of every side of the product and its packaging. The brand name must match the permanent branding on the item. If a GS1 barcode exists, Amazon wants you to list with it.
How condition and your description come across
Amazon.de has four used grades: Wie neu, Sehr gut, Gut and Akzeptabel, as set out in the used products guide. Kleinanzeigen has no matching scale, so set the condition on each product in FLUF before you list, and grade honestly: a buyer who expected Sehr gut and got Gut can leave negative feedback.
On a shared product page, your condition note is the only text of yours a buyer sees. If your Kleinanzeigen ad only says “Top Zustand, Abholung oder Versand”, rewrite it before you list. Say what marks there are, what is missing from the box, and whether cables or manuals are included.
Setting it up in FLUF Connect
- Open a Professional seller account on Amazon.de. An Individual account cannot connect to FLUF.
- Get your LUCID number (and your WEEE number for electrical goods) before you list. The section below explains both.
- Connect Kleinanzeigen in FLUF and import your active ads.
- Connect Amazon in FLUF and approve the connection on Amazon.
- Add an ASIN or barcode to each product you want on Amazon, and a clear condition and description.
- List a small batch first. Check each item is live on Amazon.de before you send the rest.
7 days for £1, then from £9/month, then plans from £9/month.
What happens when something sells
FLUF handles sales differently on each side of this pair. This table is the full picture:
| Channel | FLUF detects a sale here | FLUF ends this listing when the item sells elsewhere | Relisting (plans above Starter) | Offer management (plans above Starter) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kleinanzeigen | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Amazon.de | No | Yes | No | No |
In practice:
- A buyer pays on Kleinanzeigen. FLUF sees the sale and ends your Amazon.de listing.
- A buyer orders on Amazon.de. FLUF does not see this order. Open the item in FLUF and mark it sold. FLUF then ends the Kleinanzeigen ad.
Check your Seller Central orders every day you sell. A daily check stops a Kleinanzeigen buyer turning up to collect an item that already went to an Amazon customer.
Starter at £9/month covers crosslisting to both channels and inventory sync, with unlimited listings. Relisting for Kleinanzeigen comes with the plans above Starter.
| Plan | Monthly | Crosslisted products |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | £9/month | Unlimited |
| Seller | £29/month | Unlimited |
| Pro | £99/month | Unlimited |
| Super Seller | Custom pricing — tell us what you need | Unlimited |
Amazon.de fees, with an example
Amazon.de has two selling plans: Individual at €0.99 per item sold, and Professional at €39 per month, both plus VAT. You need Professional for FLUF and for used goods.
On each sale Amazon charges a referral fee. It is a percentage of the total the buyer pays, including shipping. Rates for categories that suit typical Kleinanzeigen stock, from the Amazon.de pricing page:
| Amazon.de category | Referral fee | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Unterhaltungselektronik (consumer electronics) | 7% | €0.30 |
| Computer | 7% | €0.30 |
| Videospielkonsolen (consoles) | 8% | None |
| Videospiele und Gaming-Zubehör | 15% | None |
| Bücher; Musik, Video und DVD | 15% | None |
| Werkzeuge und Heimwerkerbedarf (tools) | 13% | €0.30 |
| Musikinstrumente und AV-Produktion | 12% | €0.30 |
| Spielzeug und Spiele (toys) | 15% | €0.30 |
Worked example: used headphones
You sell used Bluetooth headphones in Unterhaltungselektronik for €80 and charge €5 shipping.
- The buyer pays €85.
- The referral fee is 7% of €85: €5.95.
- You keep €79.05, before your real postage cost and your monthly plan fee.
The same €85 sale in toys at 15% would cost €12.75, so check the rate for your category before you set a price.
LUCID and WEEE registration for Amazon.de
Packaging: LUCID
Anyone who places filled packaging on the German market, online sellers included, must register in LUCID, the German packaging register. Registration is free. You must also join a dual system for your shipping packaging and report your packaging quantities. Amazon’s EPR compliance page asks you to show compliance with your 13-digit LUCID number.
Electrical goods: WEEE number from stiftung ear
If you sell electrical or electronic equipment, you must be registered with stiftung ear before you place it on the market. You must also state your WEEE registration number when you offer that equipment and on your invoices.
Amazon says it may disable listings from sellers it classes as non-compliant, according to its EPR page. Sort out both numbers before your first Amazon.de listing goes live.
