Vintage Morrissey Is A Twat Viz Parody T Shirt Oneita XL Smiths 80s 90s Tabloid

A rare British novelty tee from the late-80s/90s indie era. The front is a fake tabloid front page, with a printed photo of Morrissey and a full column of satirical text. Page three model jokes, red section headings and a red "EXCLUSIVE" flash complete the newspaper look. It's print-heavy and still readable, so the front can be read like a newspaper clipping.

The shirt copies the style of a British tabloid exposé. The "article" says a Professor Ivan Sogorski of "Barrow-in-Furness University's Department of Advanced Human Behavioural Studies" has concluded that Morrissey is a twat. Dealer descriptions and fan discussions say the text comes from a satirical piece in Viz, the British adult comic, though I couldn't find the original issue. It pokes at his stage persona (the daffodils, hearing aid and NHS glasses from the early Smiths years), his song titles and his devoted cult following.
