A beautiful example of Late Victorian craftsmanship, this sterling silver "target" or "bullseye" brooch features exquisite hand-engraving and classic Aesthetic Movement motifs.
Design & Details
Front: The brooch features a central circular medallion with fine hand-engraved floral and foliate patterns. This is surrounded by a textured rope-twist border and a sunburst/flower petal outer frame accented with delicate silver beads (granulation).

Back: The reverse is hollow-constructed (typical of the period) and features a traditional "C-clasp" and a long pin that extends slightly beyond the frame—a hallmark of Victorian brooch design to accommodate thicker garments.
