The Beatles Please Please Me / Ask Me Why Parlophone 45-R 4983 Factory Sample

Original early UK 1963 pressing of The Beatles – Please Please Me / Ask Me Why on Parlophone Records.
Catalogue: 45-R 4983
Side A: Please Please Me
Side B: Ask Me Why
Early black and silver Parlophone label retaining the 45-R prefix, from the early 1963 pressing period.

This particular copy is unusual because the A-side label shows a large circular/oval area of adhesive residue and surface disturbance, consistent with a sizeable sticker having once been applied and later removed.

Early Parlophone Beatles records are known to exist with factory/sample identification stickers, although the original sticker is no longer present on this copy.

Condition: Good condition for a record of this age. Please see photos for exact condition.

An interesting early Beatles pressing with an unusual label feature that may appeal to specialist Beatles and Parlophone collectors.
Please study all photographs carefully for exact condition and label details.
