Polo Ralph Lauren 381 Bleecker Golf Tournament rugby shirt, circa SS08.

Heavyweight chocolate-brown cotton jersey with a contrasting bright pink colourblock panel through the chest and back. Finished with a cream twill rugby collar and reinforced placket.

Features an embroidered N.V. Golf Tournament / 381 Bleecker crest at the chest, large cream numeral appliqués, tonal reinforced elbow patches and classic ribbed cuffs.
The combination of brown, pink and cream gives this one a much more unusual appearance than the standard striped Polo rugbys from the period.

Ralph Lauren's own archive documents closely related 381 Bleecker sporting pieces from Spring 2008, so this piece is best dated circa SS08 / late 2000s.

Condition
Very good vintage condition.
Natural fading from age and wear throughout, giving the cotton a great broken-in appearance. Very subtle age-related yellowing/discoloration to the cream collar.
No major damage noted.
