Polo Ralph Lauren 2004 Luftwaffe / Kanal Flight Jacket – Sand-Taupe Herringbone – Size L

Released for Resort ’04 as part of RL’s short-lived “European Air Forces” capsule, this piece riffs on the WWII German Kanal-Jacke (Channel Jacket) worn by Luftwaffe pilots. Signature details include the right-over-left diagonal storm flap, raw-edge leather flare pocket on the sleeve, zip gauntlet cuffs and a stand collar that buckles tight with a leather throat strap. Finished with vintage-spec CONMAR zippers and RL-stamped leather pull-tabs. Produced for one season only—far scarcer than the later 2005 CC5 jackets.

No holes or tears. Leather sleeve pocket is supple, collar wool clean, hardware fully functional. Minor edge wear at hem and natural creasing to shell—exact patina collectors want. ready to wear.
