This listing is for an Original Antique Meiji period Lamp Stand / Base.

The piece on display here is actually manufactured as a Lamp Base, rather than being a piece that has been converted to a lamp.

It displays a lovely ornate Dragon in high relief as decoration and various seals as button detailing.

It has original manufacturing correction plugs, showing the authenticity of the age and the factory repair process used for the production of high end bronze products of that era.

There is a slight warp / dent to the base of the lamp but this does not effect the balance of the base or stop it from being a very attractive Antique Restoration project for a specialist collector.

A lamp base of this size and decoration in full working order with its lamp shade and wiring will easily make over £600.00 -£1000.00 Grab yourself a bargain and a great little Antique restoration project.
