Hiroshi Fujiwara GDEH Goodenough Heavyweight Cableknit Sweater
Description
GOODENOUGH was founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara — widely regarded as one of the key architects of modern Japanese streetwear and often referred to as the “Godfather of Harajuku” or “Godfather of Streetwear.” Emerging from Tokyo’s influential Ura-Harajuku scene in the early 1990s, GOODENOUGH helped shape the blueprint for modern streetwear long before the rise of brands like BAPE, WTAPS and even Supreme’s global dominance.
This heavyweight cable knit sweater reflects the brand’s more understated side — premium construction, timeless styling and quality materials rather than overt branding. GOODENOUGH officially ceased operations in 2017, making original pieces increasingly difficult to source, particularly knitwear and heavier seasonal garments which appear far less frequently on the second-hand market than the brand’s graphic tees or outerwear.
