FW89 Polo Ralph Lauren USA Wool Hunting Jacket Band Collar M (Polo Country / RRL era)

Archive-era Polo by Ralph Lauren wool hunting jacket, made in U.S.A., from the late-80s / early-90s fw89–fw92 (est.) outdoor period – same universe as Polo Country and early RRL.

Heavy brushed wool blend (85% wool / 15% nylon) in a deep red / black / oat tartan. Band collar with throat latch, two-way YKK metal zip, and a clean front placket give it that 40s hunting cruiser feel but with Ralph’s tailoring.

Why it’s interesting:
Made-in-USA Polo outerwear from this era is getting scarce, and the band-collar hunting pattern doesn’t pop up often. Great piece if you like Polo Country, Filson, Woolrich, RRL, heritage workwear etc.
