Deadstock Late 70s Red Swiss Cotton Belted Shirt Dress Size 38 UK 8-10

True late-1970s to early-1980s belted shirt dress, made in Western Germany and still carrying its original shop and fabric tags.

The dress is a rich tomato red with a small navy, gold and pink circular medallion print. It has a softly pointed collar, button-through front, gentle gathering at the shoulders, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs and a small flap chest pocket.

The original matching belt is included, finished with a fabric-covered buckle and metal eyelets. The longer, streamlined cut creates a classic vintage day-dress shape without the exaggerated shoulders associated with later 1980s styles.

The outer fabric is labelled 100% Swiss cotton. A separate tag lists the main lining as 100% polyamide.

Labelled vintage size 38. Best suited to a modern UK 8-10, with UK 10 likely to be the closest fit.
