Description
This 1881 Victorian one third farthing was one of the lightest bronze coins issued during the reign of Queen Victoria. These ⅓ farthing coins were struck for use in Malta where they were the equivalent of the old Maltese grano. Third-farthings we never legal tender in the United Kingdom.
This coin is a particularly good condition specimen.
