Description

This is a vintage ceramic teapot from the ’70s–’80s, dating from the time when Germany was still divided and the GDR existed, before East and West Germany were reunited after the fall of the Iron Curtain.

The logo “CP” stands for Colditz Porzellan, which tracks it back to the factory Colditz in Germany (GDR in the 70's-80's).

This unique teapot showcases a warm cognac/chestnut-brown glaze with a glossy finish that beautifully reflects the style of the era it comes from: the 1970s. A charming addition to any vintage collection for anyone who loves tea and a good story. It features a sturdy handle, a well-shaped spout, and a removable lid for easy filling and cleaning.

The teapot is in extraordinarily good condition. There are a few small spots that appear to be manufacturing marks (such as the grey spot under the spout), but there are no signs of chips anywhere.
